A landmark case has been decided by the Texas Courts in favor of taxpayers in Texas which case will be of outstanding help to everyone, and it is this:

On April 12, 2001, the 14th Court of Appeals upheld and ruled that a property owner in Harris County did not have to accept some of the present rules used by the Harris County Appraisal District regarding placing a value on a property.  

 

The Texas Judiciary has a good web site which has every case right on the web site.  We will show you how to access the information.

We want you to see the case in its entirety because the 14th Court of Appeals so beautifully composed its ruling that not only is it easy to read and understand, but it is also extremely interesting reading and will inspire you, as a property taxpayer, to protest your taxes with vigor and confidence.
